Do you ever feel like you are just spinning in circles? That is the kind of week I have had! So much to do- Shopping to complete, gifts to finish making, gifts to wrap, cookies to baking, etc... As I was starting to freak out about all that I needed to do by the end of this week. I just stopped...what will happen if we do not have homemade baked cookies? What will happen if I do not finish the gifts I am making for Christmas? Will the world stop spinning? I think not! So I entered the no spin zone! I feel so much better now. Shopping is done, gifts well I can wrap all the way up to Christmas Eve, right? Same goes for cookies or ones from the bakery might taste just as good! Who said I had to make handmade gifts? No one but me...so I took some of that pressure off myself and just made ornaments! Fast fun and easy!
This is the first year that we have drawn names for the kids in Mr. Ink's family! I was so happy we got two girls. SMILE! It was so fun to shop for girlie pink things! LOL!
I made them each an ornament for the top of their gifts: Each is made with a paper mache base, gesso, watercolor, ebony pencil and then covered in beeswax
